Celtic tree calendar

Symbolism:his tree is the most impatient of all to turn its leaves green again, and for this reason its branches were gathered in a brush to fustigate the demons and push away the old year. It symbolizes the revival, the beginning and the purification. In this way, it was the attribute of the Roman lictors when they ruled. The birch is associated with the light which emerges from the night such as the young solar god Bélénos, the growing sun. Such is the youth that its grace and its thinness remind us.

Description: Folding greetings card, printed on one side, dimension 10,5x14,5cm (dimension when open 21x14,5cm) on a paper 160g, PEFC certified. Sold under a protective blister, with its white fabric-like enveloppe, and an explicative file. Made in France. Design also available as a matted print on this website.
